This month Dandi will tell you the news...

Hello there Donkey friends, good to see that you are back ........

Sorry that ot took so long for the new update,but Bianca is a very bussy person and we need her to type the news on the pc ...as we still can't type ourselfs..LOL But luckely she has some time over and is willing to type the news as I bray it to her....Yes she translate the bray in english! Well lets start because a lot has happend this month....

Dick began the month wit preparing our nursery pasture. Bianca always find new ideas and then Dick has to work that idea out. So Bianca tought it was a good idea to extend our nursury pasture with a little more room so a new fence has to be made...and yes Dick has to do that! But sweet as he is he made us a very nice new fence and that means a little more gras....Thanks Dick!

Ofcourse Bianca helps him where she can, but Dick is the builder and he did a great job. A nice new fence and more gras and ofcourse baby proof!

Spring has began, alltought the weather is not so good , that did not scared Mom and Dad Swan from building there nest! They are here year round en every year they build there nest  next to our pasture.....and every year we she the little baby swans coming out of there egs.... really a joy to withness and we hope it will go okay this year and we can enjoy more baby swans.....

Also our one couple swallows is back from there winterstay in Africa, they are here know for the last two years and build there nest in our stable! That is fun we keep an eye on the nest egs and ofcourse we keep the baby swallows when they are born save......we keep all predators out. We are very proud on our little feather friends that they made the journey back from Africa save again and they could find us back ,without a navigation system like tom tom...He bianca you can learn from them.......LOL (sorry)

Springtime also means...love is in the air.....dating time! Luke has his first date ever with Babette. And for her it is also her first time that she is one a date!  They are both old enogh now to play around and hopefully make a beautifull baby.......also Snow is on a date with Oscar...for them it is nothing new they now how much fun it is to make a new baby!

And ofcourse spring time means....baby donkey's...We are waithing on the first one and to be more precise...I am waiting on my baby! My due date is already past and the stork still hasn't arrived... We have to be patient but I can not waith to see my little one...I am so qurious. And the second foal will be from Fanny and Annabelle will have a foal too. So if everything goes right we will have tree little ones in the next two months.... Me first any day now. Then Fanny in June and Annabelle in July.

And when the temperature is getting higger....Bianca starts with shaving our wintercoats. We like to get ride of it because it itch. No we don't like shaving but we know within half an hour our wintercoat is gone ,so we lett her do it and enjoy our summer coat! And luckely Bianca does not shave our legs and ears, because of the flies....She always says shaving is not to look pretty but to feel good and some hair left on our legs and ears will keep the flies away!!!!

Later this month Dick and Bianca will go on holiday to Canada so you can not reach her between may 17 and june 4. She and Dick will be in the wilderness without a phone or pc.......

No we will not be left alone....we will have lots of fun with Granddad Peer en Grandma Peer!! They always look after us when Dick and Bianca go away and we really love them en they love us so we will have a speciale time too........
